Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA) and the visiting Wilson Memorial Green Hornets (Fishersville, VA), observed Fluvanna County's volleyball team top Wilson Memorial by a tally of 3-0.

The Flying Flucos (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Godwin (Richmond, VA). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Godwin beat Hermitage (Richmond, VA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Green Hornets meet the Buffalo Gap Bison (Swoope, VA) in a Shenandoah contest, on Thursday, September 12. Wilson Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Bison enter the contest with a 4-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Nelson County (Lovingston, VA).
