In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Fruitland Grizzlies volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Payette Pirates.

The Grizzlies (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Homedale (Homedale, ID). The Trojans come into the 3A Snake River Valley challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Homedale lost by McCall-Donnelly (McCall, ID), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Pirates play the Marsing Huskies (Marsing, ID) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 12. Payette will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 3-1 league win over Compass Charter (Meridian, ID).
