In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Grace Lutheran Royals volleyball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Mackay Miners.

The Royals (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Salmon (Salmon, ID). The Savages enter the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Salmon was tipped by West Jefferson (Terreton, ID), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Miners meet the Leadore Mustangs (Leadore, ID) in a 1A Rocky Mountain challenge, on Thursday, September 12. Mackay will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record.
