With the win, Griggs County Central/Midkota advances its record to 2-4 on the season. The Cougars host Barnes County North co-op [North Central/Wimbledon-Courtenay] (Rogers, ND) to face the Bison in a B - Region 3 District 5 test on Tuesday, September 17. The Bison go into the test with a record of 0-2.

The Thunder now sport a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland/Munich/Starkweather] for a non-league test on Thursday, September 12. Hatton/Northwood will face a Bearcats squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Drayton/Valley-Edinburg (Drayton, ND). The Bearcats record now stands at 3-0.
