The Halifax County Comets volleyball squad (South Boston, VA), dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Tunstall Trojans (Dry Fork, VA)

With the win, Tunstall improves its record to 5-1 on the season. The Trojans travel to Gretna (Gretna, VA) to encounter the Hawks in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 12. The Hawks go into the battle with a record of 4-0. Gretna won 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA)

The Comets now own a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mecklenburg County for a Piedmont battle on Thursday, September 12. Halifax County will encounter a Phoenix squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Martinsville (Martinsville, VA). The Phoenix record now stands at 3-2.
