The Pell City Panthers topped the visiting Hueytown Golden Gophers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league game.
Next up, the Panthers face the Tuscaloosa County Wildcats (Northport, AL) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 14. Pell City will attempt to advance on its 5-1 season record.
The Golden Gophers (3-5) will now prepare for their game against Bessemer City (Bessemer, AL). The Tigers go into the 6A Area 7 game with a 0-4 record. In their last game, Bessemer City went down by Carver Birmingham (Birmingham, AL), 25-14, in a non-league game.
