Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Vidor Pirates (Vidor, TX) and the host Jasper Bulldogs (Jasper, TX), observed Vidor's volleyball team top Jasper by a count of 3-1.

The Pirates (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against West Orange-Stark (Orange, TX). The Mustangs enter the 4A Region III District 19 contest with a 0-8 record. In their last contest, West Orange-Stark was knocked off by Little Cypress-Mauriceville (Orange, TX), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Bulldogs battle the Bridge City Cardinals (Bridge City, TX) in a 4A Region III District 19 contest, on Tuesday, September 17. Jasper will attempt to move on its 1-10 season record. The Cardinals enter the contest with a 18-11 record after their 3-0 league win over Silsbee (Silsbee, TX).
