The Pirates (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Mendocino (Mendocino, CA). The Cardinals enter the North Central III challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Mendocino beat Anderson Valley (Boonville, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Warriors meet the Potter Valley Bearcats (Potter Valley, CA) in a North Central III challenge, on Thursday, September 12. Laytonville will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Bearcats enter the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Grace Christian Academy (Santa Rosa, CA).
