The Lions (2-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Mt. Pleasant (San Jose, CA). The Cardinals come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Mt. Pleasant beat Latino College Preparatory Academy (San Jose, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Aztec Warriors meet the San Jose Bulldogs (San Jose, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 12. Yerba Buena will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Jefferson (Daly City, CA).
