In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host North Hunterdon Lions volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Montgomery Cougars.

The Lions (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Bridgewater-Raritan (Bridgewater, NJ). The Panthers come into the Skyland - Delaware East challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Bridgewater-Raritan beat Hillsborough (Hillsborough, NJ), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars play the Phillipsburg Stateliners (Phillipsburg, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 11. Montgomery will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Stateliners come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 2-1 league loss to Warren Hills Regional (Washington, NJ).
