The Nanih Waiya Warriors volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Noxapater Tigers to 1 in the Warriors league triumph on Tuesday.
The Warriors now have a 7-6 record. They play next when they travel to Ethel for a Class 1A Region 6 outing on Thursday, September 12. Nanih Waiya will play a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 league win over McAdams (McAdams, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 8-2.
With the loss, Noxapater drops to 6-6 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Pillow Academy (Greenwood, MS) to play the Mustangs in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 12. The Mustangs come into the outing with a record of 8-6.
