The O'Bannon Greenwaves volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host North Side Gators to 1 in the Greenwaves non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Greenwaves now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Leflore County for a Class 2A Region 3 outing on Thursday, September 12. O'Bannon will play a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Riverside (Avon, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 6-1.

With the loss, North Side drops to 0-9 on the campaign. The Gators travel to Riverside (Avon, MS) to play the Bulldogs in a Class 2A Region 3 outing on Thursday, September 12. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a record of 7-6. Riverside won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Leflore County (Itta Bena, MS)
