The Norton Panthers volleyball squad (Norton, OH), was edged 3-2 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Woodridge Bulldogs (Peninsula, OH)

With the win, Woodridge improves its record to 9-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Cloverleaf (Lodi, OH) to encounter the Colts in a Portage Trail - Metro battle on Thursday, September 12. The Colts go into the battle with a record of 6-2. Cloverleaf won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Field (Mogadore, OH)

The Panthers now own a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Springfield for a Portage Trail - Metro battle on Thursday, September 12. Norton will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Ellet (Akron, OH). The Spartans record now stands at 4-3.
