California High School Volleyball - Sutter over Rio Linda

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Sutter Huskies (Sutter, CA) and the host Rio Linda Knights (Rio Linda, CA), observed Sutter's volleyball team top Rio Linda by a tally of 3-0.

The Huskies (12-9) will now prepare for their contest against Woodland (Woodland, CA). The Wolves enter the Golden Empire League contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Woodland beat Natomas (Sacramento, CA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Knights meet the Casa Roble Rams (Orangevale, CA) in a Golden Empire League contest, on Thursday, September 12. Rio Linda will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Rams enter the contest with a 1-5 record after their 3-2 league loss to Destiny Christian Academy (Sacramento, CA).
