In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Scappoose Indians volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the St. Helens Lions.

The Indians (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Tillamook (Tillamook, OR). The Cheesemakers come into the 4A Cowapa challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Tillamook was beaten by Astoria (Astoria, OR), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Lions meet the Gladstone Gladiators (Gladstone, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 12. St. Helens will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Gladiators come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to North Marion (Aurora, OR).
