Edison Eagles (Alexandria, VA) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Lewis Lancers (Springfield, VA), 3-1 in a league challenge.

The Eagles (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Justice (Falls Church, VA). The Wolves enter the National challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Justice was beaten by Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology (Alexandria, VA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Lancers meet the Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology Colonials (Alexandria, VA) in a National challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Lewis will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Colonials go into the test with a 5-0 record after their 3-1 league win over Justice (Falls Church, VA).
