Illinois High School Flag Football - Fremd can't hold off Buffalo Grove

Buffalo Grove Bison (Buffalo Grove, IL) followers went home pleased Wednesday as they saw their flag football team nip the host Fremd Vikings (Palatine, IL), 13-8 in a league battle.

With the win, Buffalo Grove advances its record to 3-6 on the season. The Bison travel to Deerfield (Deerfield, IL) to play the Warriors in a non-league battle on Friday, September 12. The Warriors go into the battle with a record of 3-3. Deerfield lost 49-31 in their recent league battle against Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL)

The Vikings now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Evanston for a non-league match on Friday, September 12. Fremd will confront a Wildkits squad coming off a 40-0 league win over Glenbrook North (Northbrook, IL). The Wildkits record now stands at 5-1.
