Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Goochland Bulldogs (Goochland, VA) and the host Culpeper County Blue Devils (Culpeper, VA), observed Goochland's volleyball team hold off Culpeper County by a count of 2-1.

The Bulldogs (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA). The Black Knights go into the non-league battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Charlottesville was edged by Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Blue Devils now own a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to King George for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 11. Culpeper County will encounter a Foxes squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Mountain View (Stafford, VA). The Foxes record now stands at 0-4.
