The Elkin Buckin' Elks volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Surry Central Golden Eagles to 1 in the Buckin' Elks non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Buckin' Elks now have a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Wilkes for a non-league game on Thursday, September 11. Elkin will play a Cardinals team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-3.
With the loss, Surry Central drops to 5-4 on the campaign. The Golden eagles host East Wilkes (Ronda, NC) to play the Cardinals in a non-league outing on Monday, September 15. The Cardinals come into the outing with a record of 2-3.
