California High School Volleyball - Weston Ranch over Franklin

Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the Weston Ranch Cougars (Stockton, CA) and the host Franklin Yellowjackets (Stockton, CA), observed Weston Ranch's volleyball team top Franklin by a count of 2-0.

The Cougars (12-1) will now prepare for their battle against River Islands (Lathrop, CA). The Riptide go into the non-league battle with a 4-2 record.

The Yellowjackets now own a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kimball for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 11. Franklin will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Mountain House (Mountain House, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-3.
