Rice Memorial Green Knights (South Burlington, VT) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Bellows Free Academy Bobwhites/Comets (St. Albans, VT), 2-0 in a non-league outing.

The Green Knights (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Milton (Milton, VT). The Yellowjackets go into the Lake outing with a 2-1 record.

Next up, the Bobwhites/Comets play the North Country Union Falcons (Newport, VT) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 13. Bellows Free Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Falcons come into the game with a 1-2 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Hartford (White River Junction, VT).
