The Cougars (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against Concord (Concord, NC). The Spiders enter the non-league battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Concord tipped East Rowan (Salisbury, NC), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Colts confront the Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC) in a Rocky River 4A/5A battle, on Monday, September 15. West Stanly will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Redhawks come into the test with a 4-4 record after their 1-1 non-league Olympic (Charlotte, NC).
