North Carolina High School Soccer - Christ the King nudges Pine Lake Prep

In Wednesday's league outing, the host Christ the King Crusaders soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Pine Lake Prep Pride.
The Crusaders (2-4) will now prepare for their outing against Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC). The Knights go into the Catawba Shores 2A/3A/4A game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, Lake Norman Charter was nipped by Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC), 3-0, in a league game.
The Pride (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC). The Bears come into the Catawba Shores 2A/3A/4A game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Bradford Prep edged Huss (Gastonia, NC), 5-2, in a non-league game.
