In Wednesday's league contest, the Wilmington Greyhounds (New Wilmington, PA) soccer team routed the host Commodore Perry Panthers (Hadley, PA), by a count of 9-0.

Next, the Greyhounds face the West Middlesex Big Reds (West Middlesex, PA) in a District 10 Region 1 contest, on Tuesday, September 16. Wilmington will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record.

The Panthers (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Eisenhower (Russell, PA). The Knights go into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Eisenhower topped Corry (Corry, PA), 5-2, in a league challenge.
