Valley Central Vikings (Montgomery, NY) fans went home in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their soccer squad knock off the visiting Minisink Valley Warriors (Slate Hill, NY), 3-0 in a league outing.

The Vikings (1-3) will now prepare for their outing against Goshen Central (Goshen, NY). The Gladiators go into the non-league outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, Goshen Central by Cornwall Central (New Windsor, NY), 3-1, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Warriors confront the Warwick Wildcats (Warwick, NY) in a Section 9 Division III outing, on Friday, September 12. Minisink Valley will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 2-2 record after their 2-0 league win over Washingtonville (Washingtonville, NY).
