Next, the Patriots face the Whiteville Wolfpack (Whiteville, NC) in a non-league game, on Monday, September 15. Pender will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record. The Wolfpack enter the game with a 2-6 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Lumberton (Lumberton, NC).

The Knights (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Union (Rose Hill, NC). The Spartans go into the non-league bout with a 5-3 record. In their last bout, Union nudged North Duplin (Calypso, NC), 6-1, in a league bout.
