The Social Circle Redskins softball team scored 20 runs and held the host Alcovy Tigers to 0 in the Redskins non-league win on Wednesday.

The Redskins now sport a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lamar County for a 1A D-I Region 4 challenge on Thursday, September 11. Social Circle will encounter a Trojans team coming off a 12-1 league win over Putnam County (Eatonton, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 12-1.

With the loss, Alcovy moves to 0-12 on the season. The Tigers host Clarke Central (Athens, GA) to encounter the Gladiators in a 5A Region 8 battle on Thursday, September 11. The Gladiators come into the battle with a record of 5-5. Clarke Central lost 9-1 in their recent league battle against Winder-Barrow (Winder, GA)
