With the triumph, Apalachee upgrades its record to 3-9 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Winder-Barrow (Winder, GA) to play the Bulldoggs in a 5A Region 8 battle on Tuesday, September 16. The Bulldoggs come into the battle with a record of 6-8. Winder-Barrow lost 12-10 in their recent league battle against Loganville (Loganville, GA)

With the loss, Oconee County moves to 2-10 on the season. The Warriors host Monroe Area (Monroe, GA) to confront the Purple Hurricanes in a 3A Region 8 battle on Thursday, September 11. The Purple Hurricanes enter the challenge with a record of 9-6. Monroe Area lost 7-6 in their recent league challenge against Jefferson (Jefferson, GA)
