In Wednesday's non-league test, the Banks County Leopards (Homer, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Jasper County Hurricanes (Monticello, GA), by a tally of 12-2.

The Leopards now sport a 15-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hart County for a non-league outing on Monday, September 15.

With the loss, Jasper County moves to 7-8 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to Putnam County (Eatonton, GA) to clash with the War Eagles in a 1A D-I Region 4 test on Thursday, September 11. The War Eagles go into the test with a record of 0-8. Putnam County lost 12-1 in their recent league contest against Lamar County (Barnesville, GA)
