With the triumph, Pike County improves its record to 10-2 on the year. The Pirates host Jackson (Jackson, GA) to face the Red Devils in a 2A Region 2 contest on Thursday, September 11. The Red Devils enter the contest with a record of 10-4. Jackson lost 14-0 in their recent league bout against Pike County (Zebulon, GA)

Next up, the Wolverines face the Ola Mustangs (McDonough, GA) in a 4A Region 2 contest, on Thursday, September 11. Union Grove will attempt to improve on its 11-3 season record. The Mustangs enter the contest with a 12-3 record after their 8-2 non-league loss to Northgate (Newnan, GA).
