Vermont High School Volleyball - Bellows Free Academy tips Champlain Valley Union

Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the Bellows Free Academy Bobwhites/Comets (St. Albans, VT) and the host Champlain Valley Union Redhawks (Hinesburg, VT), observed Bellows Free Academy's volleyball team hold off Champlain Valley Union by a count of 3-2.

The Bobwhites/Comets (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Essex (Essex Junction, VT). The Hornets go into the non-league battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Essex tipped St. Johnsbury Academy (St. Johnsbury, VT), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Redhawks now own a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Burlington for a Division 1 battle on Wednesday, September 17. Champlain Valley Union will encounter a Wolves squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Colchester (Colchester, VT). The Wolves record now stands at 2-2.
