Nevada High School Volleyball - Sierra Vista over Doral Academy Red Rock

Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the Sierra Vista Mountain Lions (Las Vegas, NV) and the visiting Doral Academy Red Rock Dragons (Las Vegas, NV), observed Sierra Vista's volleyball team top Doral Academy Red Rock by a score of 3-1.

With the win, Sierra Vista improves its record to 12-9 on the season. The Mountain Lions travel to Amplus Academy (Las Vegas, NV) to encounter the Archers in a 4A Southern - Mountain battle on Monday, September 15. The Archers go into the battle with a record of 4-10. Amplus Academy lost 3-0 in their recent league battle against Spring Valley (Las Vegas, NV)

The Dragons now own a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Desert Oasis for a 4A Southern - Mountain contest on Monday, September 15. Doral Academy Red Rock will meet a Diamondbacks team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Silverado (Las Vegas, NV). The Diamondbacks record now stands at 7-15.
