Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC) and the host East Forsyth Eagles (Kernersville, NC), observed Southwest Guilford's volleyball squad nudge East Forsyth by a score of 3-2.

With the win, Southwest Guilford improves its record to 8-7 on the season. The Cowboys travel to Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC) to encounter the Cougars in a non-league battle on Monday, September 15. The Cougars go into the battle with a record of 6-7.

The Eagles now own a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they host Parkland for a Central Piedmont 7A/8A contest on Thursday, September 11. East Forsyth will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 league loss to R.J. Reynolds (Winston-Salem, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-6.
