With the win, Grant improves its record to 3-5 on the year. The Generals host Sunset (Portland, OR) to meet the Apollos in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 13. The Apollos enter the challenge with a record of 2-2. Sunset lost 3-1 in their recent league challenge against Southridge (Beaverton, OR)

Next, the Democrats meet the Benson Tech Astros (Portland, OR) in a 6A Portland Interscholastic challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Astros go into the test with a 0-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Cleveland (Portland, OR).
