Grundy Golden Wave (Grundy, VA) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Honaker Tigers (Honaker, VA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Grundy improves its record to 8-4 on the season. The Golden Wave host East Ridge (Lick Creek, KY) to encounter the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 11. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 2-6. East Ridge lost 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Pike County Central (Pikeville, KY)
Next, the Tigers meet the Lebanon Pioneers (Lebanon, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 17. Honaker will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
