The Lamar County Bulldogs volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Haleyville Lions to 2 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Bulldogs now have a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Gordo for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 11. Lamar County will play a Green Wave team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Oakman (Oakman, AL). The Green Wave record now stands at 2-2.

The Lions (3-5) will now prepare for their game against Winfield (Winfield, AL). The Pirates go into the non-league game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Winfield was edged by Lamar County (Vernon, AL), 3-2, in a non-league game.
