Shelton Gaels (Shelton, CT) boosters left the game pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Hamden Green Dragons (Hamden, CT), 3-1 in a league challenge.

The Gaels (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Lauralton Hall (Milford, CT). The Crusaders come into the Southern Connecticut - Hammonasset challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Lauralton Hall was beaten by Mercy (Middletown, CT), 3-1, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Green Dragons face the Sheehan Titans (Wallingford, CT) in a Southern Connecticut - Hammonasset test, on Thursday, September 11. Hamden will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Titans go into the test with a 1-2 record after their 3-1 league loss to Foran (Milford, CT).
