In Wednesday's league challenge, the visiting South Kingstown Rebels volleyball team scored a close 3-2 win over the Prout Crusaders.

With the win, South Kingstown advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Rebels host Cranston West (Cranston, RI) to face the Falcons in a Division 1 test on Wednesday, September 17. The Falcons go into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Crusaders now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chariho for a Division 1 test on Friday, September 12. Prout will face a Chargers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to La Salle Academy (Providence, RI). The Chargers record now stands at 0-3.
