In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Tygarts Valley Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Tucker County Mountain Lions.

The Bulldogs (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Pendleton County (Franklin, WV). The Wildcat go into the Cumberland Valley test with a 1-2 record.

The Mountain Lions now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pocahontas County for a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. Tucker County will face a Warriors squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Independence (Coal City, WV). The Warriors record now stands at 0-3.
