The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the West Potomac Wolverines (Alexandria, VA) and the host Woodson Cavaliers (Fairfax, VA), saw West Potomac's volleyball squad nip Woodson by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, West Potomac upgrades its record to 4-1 on the year. The Wolverines travel to Fairfax (Fairfax, VA) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 19. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 2-2.

The Cavaliers now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Braddock for a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 13. Woodson will play a Bruins squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over West Springfield (Springfield, VA). The Bruins record now stands at 1-0.
