The East Surry Cardinals (Pilot Mountain, NC) football defeated the visiting South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC), 32-6 in Monday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Cardinals face the Walkertown Wolfpack (Walkertown, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, September 14. East Surry will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Wolfpack enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 48-0 non-league loss to North Davidson (Lexington, NC).
The Sauras (0-2) will now prepare for their test against East Wilkes (Ronda, NC). The Cardinals go into the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, East Wilkes prevailed over Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC), 20-6, in a non-league test.
