The Trojans now sport a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Jack Britt for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 12. Pine Forest will meet a Buccaneers squad coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Red Springs (Red Springs, NC). The Buccaneers record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Harnett Central drops to 2-2 on the season. The Trojans travel to Triton (Erwin, NC) to meet the Hawks in a test on Wednesday, September 13. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 5-1. Triton won 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Overhills (Spring Lake, NC)
