The Franklin Panthers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Hayesville Yellowjackets to 0 in the Panthers non-league victory on Monday.

The Panthers now possess a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Henderson for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 12. Franklin will meet a Falcons team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Cherokee (Cherokee, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 6-2.

The Yellowjackets (6-2) will now prepare for their game against Smoky Mountain (Sylva, NC). The Mustangs enter the non-league game with a 1-8 record. In their last game, Smoky Mountain defeated Tuscola (Waynesville, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
