The Gretna Hawks held off the visiting Magna Vista Warriors volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Monday's non-league test.
The Hawks now have a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Appomattox County for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 12. Gretna will confront a Raiders team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Brookville (Lynchburg, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 3-2.
The Warriors (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Tunstall (Dry Fork, VA). The Trojans enter the non-league test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, Tunstall was nudged by Dan River (Ringgold, VA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
