In Monday's league battle, the host Pisgah Bears soccer squad scored a close 5-1 triumph over the Smoky Mountain Mustangs.
The Bears (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Franklin (Franklin, NC). The Panthers come into the Mountain Seven 3A battle with a 6-2 record. In their last battle, Franklin nudged Tuscola (Waynesville, NC), 4-1, in a league battle.
The Mustangs (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against North Henderson (Hendersonville, NC). The Knights come into the Mountain Seven 3A battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, North Henderson by West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC), 3-1, in a league battle.
