In Monday's league battle, the host Voyager Vikings soccer squad scored a close 2-1 win over the Vance Charter Knights.
The Vikings (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Oxford Prep (Oxford, NC). The Griffins go into the Triangle North 1A battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, Oxford Prep nipped Kerr-Vance Academy (Henderson, NC), 8-3, in a non-league battle.
The Knights (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Roxboro Community (Roxboro, NC). The Bulldogs go into the Triangle North 1A battle with a 3-3 record.
