The Belton Pirates softball team scored 20 runs and limited the host St. Teresa's Academy Stars to 6 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Belton moves its record to 7-3 on the year. The Pirates host Chrisman (Independence, MO) to clash with the Bears in a non-league game on Tuesday, September 12. The Bears come into the game with a record of 4-10. Chrisman lost 21-0 in their recent non-league game against Grain Valley (Grain Valley, MO)

In their next game, the Stars clash with the Raytown South Cardinals (Raytown, MO) in a Class 4 District 14 game, on Tuesday, September 12. St. Teresa's Academy will attempt to move on its 3-10 season record. The Cardinals come into the game with a 2-6 record after their 8-2 non-league loss to Winnetonka (Kansas City, MO).
