The War Eagles now sport a 9-2 record. They play next when they host Edmund Burke Academy for a GIAA 2AA match on Wednesday, September 13. Brentwood will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 12-0 non-league win over David Emanuel Academy (Stillmore, GA). The Spartans record now stands at 2-7.

With the loss, Gatewood moves to 6-7 on the season. The Gators host First Presbyterian Day (Macon, GA) to meet the Vikings in a non-league match on Tuesday, September 12.
