In Monday's non-league battle, the host Blake Bears volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the St. Paul Academy-Summit Spartans.

The Bears (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Minnehaha Academy (Minneapolis, MN). The Red Hawks come into the Independent Metro Athletic battle with a 9-1 record. In their last battle, Minnehaha Academy achieved victory over Mounds Park Academy (St. Paul, MN), 3-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Spartans clash with the Breck Mustangs (Minneapolis, MN) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, September 13. St. Paul Academy-Summit will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Mustangs come into the battle with a 1-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to Providence Academy (Plymouth, MN).
