The Meridian Mustangs held off the host Bruning-Davenport/Shickley Eagles volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Monday's league test.

The Mustangs now have a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Johnson County Central for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 12. Meridian will confront a Thunderbirds team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Johnson-Brock (Johnson, NE). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 6-4.

The Eagles (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Johnson-Brock (Johnson, NE). The Eagles enter the non-league test with a 9-3 record. In their last test, Johnson-Brock was nudged by Johnson County Central (Tecumseh, NE), 2-1, in a non-league test.
